The study aims to scrutinize researchers’ views on the societal impact of research and its evaluation.
This survey is part of the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies’ impact evaluation project. The objective of the survey is to increase understanding of the societal impact of research and the possibilities for demonstrating it and, thus, support the impact evaluations of higher education institutions and other organisations carrying out and funding research.
The survey is intended for researchers working in different sectors and career stages in Finland, including doctoral researchers.
