In the spirit of Open Access Week and its theme of "Community over commercialization", the DIAMAS project is organizing a webinar on the topic of 'collaboration' in Diamond OA publishing 23 October 2024 15.00-16.00 CET.
Webinar begins with a short introduction to Diamond OA collaborations by Mikael Laakso (TSV), followed by engagement, discussion and sharing of experiences facilitated by means of Particify tool: https://particify.de/en/.
Collaboration at different levels within an organisation, between organisations, regionally, nationally, internationally - we argue that they all have a place in improving publishing practices if managed well. Smart use of shared services, sharing knowledge and expertise, and potentially saving costs in the process has benefits for individual organisations as well as for the system as a whole.
The DIAMAS project would like to invite anyone active or interested in the Diamond OA space from anywhere in the world to join us for this webinar to learn about some successful examples of collaboration in Europe, as well as the possibility to get your voice heard to share your views and experiences during the interactive parts of the webinar.
The webinar will be recorded. By signing up you will gain access to the recording after the event even if you are not able to make it there live.
